what total gains would be seen from.....

Decat/full 2.5" exhaust system
Air filter (bog standard like K&N or Green)
4-2-1

12 bhp?

you'd be better with the 2.25" I would of thought.

You wont be looking at 12bhp thought, 7-8bhp maybe

well i managed to gain around 6-7 with full system and filter on the corsa i had.

so i was reconing 4-5 max from 421 meaning 11-12bhp

Sound about right that. 10 - 12 bhp.

plus i have a schneaky plan.

from my old SEH i have my ECU - which should work with my NE Give it another kick up the bottom end, maybe another 8bhp or so.

so thats......17 - 20 bhp more

me car was running at 142ish bhp, and will now be running at....... 130ish with a stripped out interior (my estimates)

yeh my old engine was the SEH - higher output.

im just saying that without spending more than 15 quid im only 10bhp down.


which really - 130bhp in a nova thats stripped out is awesome anyway. Dont think i'll miss the 10bhp because after a while im getting throttlebods for an extra 20bhp or so
