Pluged a diagnostic into the car yesterday....
engine temp was read out at 23C...
But dials say it was 98C
No wonder it was running hot all the way to PVS if the ECU thinks its much colder than it is! 
Funny thing is that the sensor is new, changed just a month or so ago

dont say new ECU 
going to check the wiring from the sensor, i could have another kink like my main loom has. Bloomin bodge of an engine change

TBH when i changed it the old one looked new, as if calidus had changed it the day before lol

Sensor genuine? Had the the EXACT same problem. Put a GM one in, Bingo!
