HI all. got a problem, ive just done the 2.0 conversion with the m-tec conversion kit.

Ive put the new hubs into the carrier with new corsa bearings. But there is still play. Does this mean the cv nut is not tight enuf?

im not sure exactly where the play is, when i put the wheel back on turned the wheel side to side with my hands and noticed play, the same play you get with a nackered wheel bearing or a nut not done up tight enuf. think someone used an air gun on it to tighten it up.

Should do yeah.
But its quite an important nut, so i always do them up with a torque wrench and a scaffold pole for extra leverage, lol.

The hub nut needs to be a lot tighter than that.
