how would you go about fitting a performance manifold, is it a job anyone can do or does a professional mechanic have to do it. what is a average price for a mechanic.

thanks

It's easy. Bolt off, bolt on job. You might find it a bit awkward trying to fit the thing while the engine is in though.

Might not be a bolt off bolt on jobbie if u have the x14xe or x16xe as the SAI may need to be blanked off.

Not much TBH. The car will pick up better though.

You may as well fit it yourself. The SAI doesn't need blanking off on the Janspeed, just bolting back onto the manifold.

You can't do it wrong TBH.

Undo all the old bolts and the clamp, remove the manifold, fit a new gasket, fit the new manifold, do the bolts up, fit a new clamp, swap the SAI over (1 torx bolt) drive the car.

You might need to take the radiator off, unless you can get the car up on a ramp, or high enough to get the manifold out the bottom.
