but all im getting through the subs is just bass and its not even that loud.
Tried changing the setting around on the amp but still its only pure bass going through them.

They are subs, why would you want anything other than bass playing through them?

yeah i know that, but the ones i had before that didnt sound half as bad as the ones that ive got in now.
Doesn't seem as loud as it should. And ive only got components upfront

you can't have the subs connected to the amp properly and are therefore creating to high a load (ohms) at the amp,
what Ohm is each of the voice coils on the subs?

Both wired up to the amp correctly? - + both the same on each otherwise it will sound a bit wide and horrible

is it best to get a 1ohm load of the amp. Or trying to do it a different way? Does it make much difference

you want the lowest ohm rating as possible, but only goto what the amp can goto,
which in your case is 2ohms so you might have to run the 4 ohm setup
and in this instance you are only going to get 600Watts from the amp which is going to give you 300watts per sub, and as the subs are 1200 watts you might want to consider getting a new amp.

I think that website is wrong, every other site with those subs including ebay say that they are 600watts, only 1200 max, I probably will go for another amp aswell though
