ive recently had new brake pads and disks fitted at my local garage! done around 1k to 2k miles with them now! anyway recently they have started to squeak a bit and the steering wheel vibrates whenever i touch the brakes! i need a new brake hose on one side, could this be the cause?

The hose won't be the cause. Wobbly steering wheel when you brake is usually warped discs. This can happen if you don't bed them in properly.

Nope. If they are warped, they are buggered. I did the same with my V6 brakes.

99% of the time this is down to the garage not cleaning the hubs right back before fitting the discs. the hub should be cleaned with a wire brush until its completely clean and free from rust and then checked for runout with a push type dial gauge. then the disc should be mounted and also checked for runout.
ive seen some garages just remove the old disc, chuck on the new one and send it out.

take it somewhere decent and get them to remove the discs and inspect the hubs.
