I'm wanting to make a set of speaker pods, which would go on top of the buttom door card. I was wondering if anyone could tell me what i need for this.
I know i need fibreflass and filler and some sort of catalyst but i'm not exactly sure what to buy. If anyone could give me a link to some items from http://www.cfsnet.co.uk/acatalog/ - i was told it's fairly cheep from there. Then that would be great.
Thanks

fiber glass consists of a resin and a hardener
the resin is liquid and hardener is like a paste
i use "fastglass" but i suppose if you need litres of it it will be expensive
you will need MDF to build up the frame for the speaker pod
then streatch a material over the frame, any streatchy fabric will do
anything else you need to know?

I'll have a look on http://www.cfsnet.co.uk/acatalog/ and post some products. Would you be able to tell me if they will be ok for the job ?

http://www.cfsnet.co.uk/acatalog/CFS_Catalogue__FILLERS_12.html list of fillers, don't have a clue which category it would be in

these will be fine but postage on these items is expensive and will bump up the cost, look for a boat builders or laminator fibreglass works near yours they will sell you some poly resin and fillers as they will be better quality than fast glass
