Ok today i am wanting to start on the door speaker pods but i dont yet have the components or focals or whatever im going to use. Looking at 17cm ones.

What i need to know is what internal diameter to make the mdf ring thats the speaker mounts to?

Come on peeps. Also need to know approx how far out to mounth the rings? And whether to cut out the original grill thats in the door pockets?
