Peeps .
I have now replaced my much loved Type B 1.2 Corsa (got written off) with a Type B 1.4 Corsa, but I seem to be having a few teething problems with her.
Firstly I think I may have a dodge fuel gauge, guessing it's the sender unit but I don't no where it is to change it. Some very detailed directions would be useful.
And secondly it seems to drink fuel like it has an addiction to it. does anyone roughly know what I should be getting MPG, I mean it's only .2 of a litre bigger than my last corsa but it seems to almost to use twice as much fuel on exactly the same journey.
Oh and one final thing I think it has a problem with the automatic choke some mornings it needs my foot on the throttle to start and other morning the choke seems to be stuck on. Any ideas how to convince this to work properly to.
I think she has been sat around for a while everything else on her is sound just think some things have got a little seized or under used. She needs a little TLC and hopefully with a little bit of guidance for you peeps I can make her happy again.

sounds like it needs a full service, maybe lambda sensor checking as well.
