I have a E16se in my '96 Corsa LS (1.6 8v MPi nova gte lump)
have recently changed the leads and today found the rotor arm was sh@gged so been replaced.
but it has a cold start problem as every morning, or whenever it has been left alone for a number of hours it takes a bit of effort to start it.
when it gets going it can idle at different places, On start up just under 1k, then sometimes 2k, then when it sits at around 600-700rpm it under performs and splutters/jurks everywhere. but turning the car off and starting it again sorts this out, but isnt long until it returns.
Im thinking maybe:
Air flow Metre
Coolant temp sensor?
New plugs?
Something wrong with the fuel or mixture?
There is a screw on the inlet which i dont know what it does? maybe a decent tune up would help it?
