 hey need some help i have just got my car back from the garage after haveing a bump and my cd player wont play cd's goes in fine and then make s a quite squeaky noise as if it is reading the cd but then a error code comes up dont understand why was working ok after my crash i have tried all the usal cleaning it new cd still wont work my radio is working fine
its a pioneer ???
any ideas i will try any thing NEED MY TUNES BACK lol

May be the garage swapped it for an idenitical naff one?
Or may be the lazer/reader has gone - is it under 1 year old?

Have you took it out and tried to put it back in again? The wires may be mixed up. 2 wires may be in the worng places. Just thought it would be worth a try

its my dads garage so dont think it is a duff one lol and it is over a year old dont think the wires are in the wrong place coz it has been working fine

 Ignore my suggestion then - as it's over a year old you probably won't have any warranty left. Probably be quite a lot to repair as the lazer has possibly gone.
Time for an upgrade may be?
