Bit of a dissaster i bought some Vibe door speakers(17cm) and they dont fit, i even bought the spacers but the magnet at the back is too deep/too big any ideas of wat i could do, apart from returning them because i have lost the reciept

how too deep are thay you can get away with packing out the adapters 5-6mm before thay hit the inside of the door pocket/grill my rainbows clear the glass by about 2mm

make a mdf ring to space them out a bit

Cool cheers, i tried refitting them its the size of the magnet in diameter, the hole in the door isnt big enough, tried reshaping it(with a hammer ov course) and it fits, but its a tight squeeze i think i might modify my plastic covers a bit and mount the speakers the them, like door pods.

prob the best way to mount your speakers would be to make some door pods, have a look in the tutorials section for some in depth how to's

i had the same problem with mine, resorted to a saw and a hammer to reshape the hole, fitted fine. just have to be sure that they arnt to close to the window guide otherwise everytime you close your doors with the window down you will hear them hitting each other. If thats the case a bith of sticky back foam on the back of the magnet will sort it out
