100% 30mm ... no real need to remove it though... unless your replacing it...

So whats a better way of getting the driveshafts out , in order to remove engine ?

if your taking engine out just take the shaft out as u planned

more room if the shafts out... for all the time it takes to take the nut off. 30mm and a big bar, job done.

why do things u dont have to?
the castle nut on the end of the drive shaft is the second most tightest on the car...
unnessary hassle!
remove them from the gearbox and turn them out of yer way...

if im under the car the last thing i want is for a drive shaft getting in the way.... if its a quick in and out ya want then yeah i agree.... if like me you have a garage and a bit of time id take it out.... Its not really a big hassle to undo the nut.....
I get what your saying mate but IMO its easier to work without them there than it is to have them there.
