Hi, my sport has been missing for a long time now, i think ive tried everything, but have come to no result. i Have tried
New plugs
New leads
new coil pack
new injectors
the diognostic machines wont talk to it, is there a chance its the ecu or sensors? i thought maybe timing but im not sure. Getting kinda sick of it now. Help

all of the engine earths ok?
plugs gapped properly?
timing set properly?
compression ok?
fuel pressure ok?

the amount of cars I fix with engine problems is unreal, so many people spend £££'s changing sensors without checking the basics first!

had a lad last week with a 1.6 ford focus that had spend over £300 on new leads, plugs, coilpacks, cts, throttle switch, getting timing checked..... turned out that plug No2 was on the plug No4 output on the coilpack

will diagnostics not talk to it or is there just no codes to display?

is the misfire on start up or constant?

has the compression been checked?
