I used to have a Corsa 1.4 8v and fitted a K&N for improved sound - but was disappointed, so i thought when i put a Pipercross on My Astra Coupe 1.8 16v it would sound great but there is NO sporty soind, except maybe when you nail it. i am very disappointed and wondered if anyone had similar issues and/or knew a possible solution???

i got a pipercross of my corsa and it doesnt give a big induction roar, more compliments my powerflow exhaust.
Have you got an aftermarket exhaust?

Thats a shame. I had a powerflow on my Corsa but i dont think i'll get one for my Astra although i did consider it - I think a loud exhaust shuits a Corsa better.
I had hoped the Pipercross would be enough - a waste of 90 quid IMO.

Maybe an enclosed filter will give you the sound your'e after?
Coupling with an exhaust should give you sound you desire too.
