Is it safe to take this out ?

Been searching and cant get a solid answer, is it true that it falls out when jacked up if the adjuster is removed causing an mot fail. Anyone running their corsa withought it fill me in

it's ok to remove it yeah but its then just like a shortened spring and they do fall out usually, maybe not so bad with the shorter coilover shock
