i have modified my pipe from air filter to top of inlet

i have put a std corsa airboc on and drilled it an put KnN filter in it but the two sensors on the rubber pipe ? what do they do cos now i have the eml light on ma dash these two wrer unplugged for a couple of minutes but now the car revs stupidly

what could the problem be do these need to be sat at a certain angle or sum thing

dunno if it will make a difference another sensor has gone dodgy today this one is the one on the radiator that activates the fan my car was boiling water so i have hard wired the fan for the time being will this cause bad idle an show the eml

Just to the left of the sfi box is the pipe i am on about there are two sensors

possibly the afm.

clean the contacts on the plug and the sensor, then give it another try. thats where I would start anyway
