Any point at all just that the thing will bounce of the limiter all day on long straight private roads, such as airstrips etc

Can you not just change the final drive on an F20 to stop that?
F28's ratios are all wrong for an XE from what's been said in the past.

Your avatar is a photoshop then?
Try an F20, make sure you don't get an F20cr though. However, there is no way of telling the two apart. I'm sceptical of the F20cr's existance, however, that's apparently what I have on my car

f28 is virtualy the same ratios 1st to 5th as f20 with 6th as over drive
f16 wr is the daddy as found in early cav cd also have a mk1 gte box with mega short ratio
