Ive managed to keep up with a clio 172 cup, stay close enough up a TVRs ass to annoy him (nowhere near close, but still i was a lot quicker than he was expecting), pissed all over a 1.4 polo that came right up my ass, same with a 1.4 16v corsa sri. And in respone to an earlier question, yeah, my front wipers come away from the windscreen about 90, so trying to do 135 in the rain is impossible!  (And dangerous)

Well once a cav gsi...I was like bye bye.............at 120mph......and I just stayed in 5th whole time..............

I think someone on MIG once calculated, that to hit the limiter in 6th on a F28 box in a calibra, you'd need coming up for 450bhp
So in a corsa, prob 500+, but it just wouldnt be stable.
To be totally honest, if i had an XE or LET, i'd want the closest gear'd box i could get. 120mph max would do me, as i wouldnt ever wish to do more than this in a corsa.

Rev limit needs to be at 7500rpm + on an F28 to JUST get 200mph.
Only 1 i know of, 400+bhp Superchargerd V6 Calibra out in Europe. Although he's sold it now.

F28 limit i thought was 160mph (as the twin LET nova has shown). Two F28 gearboxes and 350bhp in each lump giving v-max of 160.0mph.

Although mine isn't amazingly fast, it is damn fun to drive and theres a good bit of umph when u plant it. Eaten up a few cars including absolutly wasting a few Saxos, which is always nice 
Otherwise, i've not really had much of a play, astra GTE's etc all loose out  and my engine is/was a damn smooth lump.
However
The need for a LET is tempting, anyone got a spare £4k

This has made me think, my car is 90% sold i will know tuesday if it is for sure, if my car dont sell im dropping a LET in it, thats a promise boys and girls, who is best to do this, i need it dont quick too, i got the cash waiting

sure the pics ive seen of your corsa its brilliant looking. Y do u want to sell it and get a different car that will cos u a fortune to maintain.
stick a let in yer corsa for 3kish and the parts are a cheaps as chips(well most of em)
P.S make sure ya dont have to get 3 different engines

oi im not going through that again, lets at £1500 aint cheap to be buying 3 at a time, i really want the MR2 turbo, i got the cash to buy a fooking minter, buy im fed up of no one wanting it so if its not gone next weekend its gettin C20LET dropped in, then i will have a mint C16XE for sale lol

One of my favourites is beating MG ZR160's. Normally driven by youngsters thnking they're the best thing since sliced bread. Then pissin them off when i go sailing past them.

Clocking 200 in a Corsa would be Outrageous, I doubt the car would hold 2gether.
I hit 185 in a 996 Turbo and that felt uneasy
