any way of making it turn off?
i have removed the airbag, and fitted a different non airbag steering wheel.
how can i turn the light off??
and i know i can remove the bulb

When i took my wheel off, i jus left the batt disconnected for a hour before hand. Then when i cliped wires jus left em...
Connected ti all back up and no light
Try resettin ecu maybe it wont cum on
I think there r sum resistors/ etc u cn get to put on it to make it go off if above dnt work

in a certain book it shows a 5a fuse being put accros it and it says it goes off, mine hasnt.

does the air bag not have a seperate control unit kinda like a second mini ecu

yeah it does, its infront of the gearstick
dont know if its linked to the main ecu in anyway thou?

Think you can remove that ECU can't you? (With no problems) As Fear, he did it on his Corsa.

removing the ecu is easy enuff, ill see about doin it today

let me know if it goes off...mine has been one for a while...
BTW how do you remove the steering wheel (with airbag) without anything happening to the airbag coming off etc...?

theres 2 torx t30 at the back of the wheel
and dissconectin the ecu dont do fuck all
light is still on
just gonna pull bulb out
