on a c20xe! my mates step-o meter needs changing!

Any idea what they do?

I doubt it will need a Step-o meter replacing. Mainly because it doesn't have one fitted, also what the hell is a step-o meter?

Try doing a search for a Steper Motor. As far as I know it's the Idle Control Valve which is fitted onto the bottom of the inlet manifold.
