Ok here goes:

Step 1
Purchase the springs

Step 2
Place the springs into your boot

Step 3
Drive your car to a mechanic

Step 4
Ask them to fit them

Step 5
Wait...

Step 6
Hand over about £30 and drive off lower then before

Hope this helps mate

you need to go into the boot and remove the covers that conseal the top of the shock absorbers now with 1 spanner and a sprocket set untighten the shock absorber till it drops down then (by the way the car should have been jacked up at start and wheel off) just pull old spring out and place new one in then revers the above takes about 30 mins to do both sides in total

or.......

jack car up and set car on axle stands. (leave in gear with handbrake on too)

take one brakers bar to dampers bolt. slacken off bolt. take ratchet to same bolt and undoe bolt. prise rear axle down and slide old spring out - fit new spring. place damper bolt back iin and tighten up

then do some for other side.

DO NOT use an air gun, and its so much easier to do this on ramps

wat the fuck. you dont need to do that atall, talk about beat round the bush, you undo the bottom of the rear shocks, jack the car up, old springs will pull out and slot new ones in, jack up trailing arm do shock bottom bolts back up, 10 minute job.

well not ages but they could be better placed lol

still strange way to just put springs in as bolt at bottom of damper is close to where your working.

I'm sure Will h can decide how to do it. As for the rest of you their is not a fitting suspension FAQ in the FAQ section so why not type one and u2u it to one of the mods in there

you dont need spring compressors as long as the springs are lowered already but if they are standard then the compressors are definately advised

i did mine no problem without spring compressors.... whats the problem without using them???

take off strut in a one-er, lay strut flat on ground and undo top bolt. in saying that i do have access to an air line though...

so if you dont have an air line you could cause some serious damage......

and using an air gun on suspension bolts (the bolts at bottom of dampers) strips the threads.
