i have a vauxhall corsa 1.2ls single point injection and when i rev from the inside there is like a water leak noise coming from the dash/engine compartment

Sounds like the head gasket could be on the way out, undo the oil filler cap and if there is a mayonaise like substance under there then that confirms head gasket failure as its coolent in the oil.
