drilled airbox is better with panel filter unless you go for a sealed one. will sound nice and deep as well instead of roar.... if you want to find out what i mean, take the front air feed off your air box and stick ur foot down

not really, can breath nearly as well as an induction kit but won't soak up hot air from engine bay, and shouldn't suffer from moisture so much, i had a pipercross and it made my car judder real bad for some reason when car was cold... just stuck a few holes in air box and its much better

yeh im gonna be selling my k&n as soon as i can get air box.

so are sealed induction kits good, but if you cant afford them then drilled air box and panel filter is best option?

seperate mate... dont drill the holes as small as i did i've changed that now to a similar design but without all the small holes just larger sized one's approx 1inch diameter and a cold air feed hooked up

you buy the cold air feed seperate u can buy piperX at a price or washing machine tubing, metal flexi pipe from a diy store .etc

yeah i just need to go get an air box from scrappies and purchase a decent looking cold air feed now.

you know the very bottom pipe on standard air box ? is it just a cold air feed? (i had a butchered air box in the garage but that pipe was missing lol)
