Got up early and made the trip up to Santa Pod yesterday and all was worth it I think. Didn't start off too well and I was thinking oh fuck! but all worked out in the end, just needed some practice.

My times were:

1. 16.04 @ 79mph
2. 16.14 @ 88mph
3. 15.54 @ 88mph
4. 15.43 @ 89mph
5. 15.31 @ 89mph
6. 15.65 @ 88mph
7. 15.22 @ 91mph

So my fastest time being my last of the day. I fucked the start on all my runs some more than others obviously so am not too unhappy. Best of all I have discovered that the car standard is meant to run a 1/4 in 15.6secs so all of you that said an induction kit would slow it down was wrong as in this case it has knocked .4 seconds off the terminal.

i raced one of these yesterday at Crail.

I got a 15.81 @ 87.4mph as my best run, and he was only maybe 2 car lengths ahead of me on the run i raced him, and i whooped him to 60mph. i bounced off the limiter in 2nd

I would expect better for the engine/money TBH.

i'll go get his times....

Wasn't a bas estimate though was it vibs!

I'm happy with my times. 14's shouldn't be a problem when I start on the engine.

I feel that if a standard VTR can get 15.7 then the timing gear is far from accurate
