Ive got a stelth shelf with 6X9's in it.
I'd like it to lift up when i open up my boot lid, but its rather heavy.
Has anyone managed to find something strong enough to lift the shelf up, cos those elastic thingys keep snapping

just tried string? something I use for my racing/sailing, called dyneema i think?
bottom one here will be fine, definitely strong enough!

and believe me, that stuff does not stretch, but if you want to be sure, use the 8mm stuff instead of the 5mm
