hey...

this might sound strange but don't laugh cos it's serious

at the moment my car is now fully stripped with 2 buckets, harnesses and a cage ready to be welded in. this means I have no speakers or stereo anymore

for daily driving this is fine but it' damn boring if I have to go anywhere far!! one of the trips planned for the summer is to magny cours, so you can imagine no music all the way to the south of france

my question is ... if i bought like a ghetto blaster (portable cd player with speakers thingy) for long journeys so I atleast had some music ... can I run it off the 12v cigarette lighter? or would I just need lots of batteries?

you can get inverters that plug into the cigarette lighter and convert it to 240v so you can plug your ghetto badboy blaster into that. Their about £40 from argos

why not just have a walkman/mp3 player with one ear peice in your ear so u can still here the outside kinda thing?

tried this with my ipod ... my car is now really loud inside with it being just bare metal .. couldn't really hear the music
