What power cap would I be best getting? 4 my system I have got a Zeus 4ch 1000rms amp 1000watts rms when not bridged.
And 2 kicker CVR 10 and two CVR 8 and 2 6x9 150rms speakers.
I have a choose between a boss 2 farad 4 £49 our a boss 3 farad 4 £70
I was thinking I might get a 2nd amp about 500 to1000 watts at a later date 4 mids and highs.

erm, none. You dont need a power cap. Your best doing the big three with some 4-1 guage and running 0guage to the boot.

Bit of advice mate dump the 6x9's they are useless, i hope the 8" are midbass if they arent then its gonna sound shite. A good set of components for the front should be a more pressing issue than a power cap.

agreed you want a better battery before even thinking about a powercap! it will only kill your current battery and altenator.... trust me!

I thought that a power cap would stop me killing my battery when the bass hits and stop my lights flashing?
I thourt the hole point of a power cap is 2 save your battery and alternator?

Trust me, you dont need one, tb3 and a bigger battery will be fine. That will do for most high end systems. You only really need to worry about your alternator when you start installing silly amounts of amps.

A POWERCAP IS A WASTE OF MONEY ....... your better off investing in a decent battery up front like an optima yellow top or any other deep cycle batterys. These guy leaving you comment like my self have been there and done that, and my cap i have is sat in the garage where it has sat for 2 years, yes they look pretty but are a waste of money
