whats the best way to go about it?
the actual cutting shouldn't be a problem, but i'm concerned about the marking out in the right place so the holes sit right on top of the pulleys.
any advice?

drill small holes where u think the center of the pulley is screw it back on and see how far your'e off.. mark it drill again and check again, repeat this till u got it right, going to cut that bit out anyway so u cant destroy it

put a blob of bluetak on the centre of each pulley, large enought to make contact with the cover, then put a dab of paint on each one, put the cover on then take it off, you should have marks.
