how you mean burnedout.

i think it might of knackered the alternator.

i have no idea how this happend, i might rewire it so they are no way near eachother.

i know, i found out by trying to jumpstart the car and the jump leads caught on fire and then loads of toxic smoke was puffing in my face and the leads where glowing i knew i had to disconect the leads and fooking burnt me self.

you think it's best to totally re-wire it and seperate them?

yer thats what i thought! shall i keep them separate dude? like put the negative on the outside of the inlet manifold next to the coolant bottle and then the + on the normal route near the distributer.

cheers

it all started when i was jump starting it and i put the leads on and my mums boyfrieind saw that i had put the - on - , but cos on corsa's that black wire turns an orange red colour, he thought i had put it on the + so dickweed swapped them round and waller, fused them together.

i thought i fixed it and it was running for a while but i might of missed a spot and then they refused
