I want to lower my corsa and wonder what the ideal size lowering spring i can use with the standard suspension ( im thinkin 40mm but dont know if its too much ). I dont want to drop the car too much if it makes the ride shite.
Im also on 15" wheels.
Any help?

40mm if you dont plan on changing the shocks but id suggest change the shocks and springs and go down 60mm

Few things then. What shocks do you recomend for a price range of around £300, and how do you go about fitting them?

you will be able to buy some 60mm springs with the shocks included as a package mate and for £300 you can expect to get some good ones!
ive never fitted any personally, so i would say take to a garage, but im sure others can advise you on this

rear ones are easy to fit, front are slightly harder as you need springs clamps, but you can buy them for £15

So, with the front ones, do i compress the spring before i undo the top strut fixing in the engine bay and remove the whole dampner. Could anyone post a couple of link as to which would be suitable (around £300)
