Make a frame out of MDF then cover it with thin mesh, apply your fibre glass then smooth and add more fibre glass!! smooth smooth and smooth again lol

i'm in the middle of making my mates install for him, soon as its finished ill get some pics up.
i made up the frames using chip board then covered it with artist canvus (cheap from fabric land) as when you spray it with water it shinks pulling out all the wrinkles.
once the canvus had dried gave the hole thing a coat of resin, this gives a good base to lay the fibre glass on.
so far the hole things cost me a around a tenner as me old man builds boats for a living so got him to "aquire" me the resin and glass mat from work, canvus was 4 quid for 1x2metres and the wood was a fiver from in-exess.
