Hi, just wondering what's the difference in the 1.4 SRI and 1.4 SPORT, i.e have they both got the same engines?, and which one is more expensive to insure/,
Cheers Speedline.

Thanks for replies, but which one is more expensive on insurance if they are both 16v?, i.e. are they both same insurance group?

aritchie = fucking star !!! just because people may have faster cars due to them being older or richer than others, doesnt mean suddenly 1.4 16vs are shit or not quick... they are quick cars, mine keeps up with standard 1.6s easy, so why shouldnt i be happy with it?? big step up from my 1.2 they are quick, you lot just forget what its like to be young and skint !

I have a calibra turbo which aint slow but I am well impressed with the 1.4 16v engine
theres not much torque low down but keep it near the red line and you can have loads of fun!
cheap to insure too im sure a 1.4 sport is a grout5 and a 1.6 sport is something stupid like a group 9 for 20 bhp more!
just won a superchipped ecu for the 1.4 too! hope to see some improvement!
