what are the signs of a buggered o2 sensor??
car failed badly on high emmisions 3 times!! i think the HC test was ok but the CO was fooked!!
had the o2 sensor cleaned and a carbon cleaner put in and went for Good thrash.. still failed??
my MOT man said get a new CAT and come back again!!

will i need a new o2 sensor aswell???

o2 sensor costs £35ish. when mine was gone it smelt of fuel alot and i did 50miles less per tank

It should throw a fault code up if its faulty.

Will idle crap, burn fuel and hesitate when driving

it idle's fine, BUT it is very hesitate/jerky upon throttel release while driving??
