i have a 1.0 corsa and its idling at about 2000rpm is this normal? if not what could the problem be?

is this the thing which is by the throttle cable? is there any way of fixing it or any way of lowering the idle

if you take the idle control valve out measure it and if it is 3.3cm or more out then push it in when you put it back together and start your car it will colaborate itself back to normal position.
