This might sound a bit DUMB to most people but do you need a special replacement gear knob for the 'lift up for reverse' type?

just look for the ones that say lift up reverse.

i bought one the other day and they said it will go on.. my car is at the engine hospital so i havnt had the chance to try it.. the guy who sold it to me didnt sound to clued up so ime not sure...

yer they say whether they are for lift up reverse or not. So as long as its for lift up reverse or normal + lift up it will be fine
