does a car sound a lot better with an induction kit and back box upgrade or will the induction roar be drowned out by the exhaust?

if anything a performance airfilter will become louder due to the engine breathing better when a new exhust is fitted but naturally it will not be as loud as the exhust and could be drowned out

Ive got a pipercross and the noise is great. You can hear the air being forced in. Back box didnt make much difference to sound.

iv got k&n is very mower-ish backbox not that great due to middle silencer
