Think my amps gone
Does a mono amp, just stop working if it blows, or does it just act different..
cause i dont currently have any subs to test my X6 amp on, i wired it up to a 6x9 just to see my amp work again, coz i aint heard it for time.
The head unit was on volume 15 (out of 66) The 6x9 was playing but it was only playing bass, and the volume wasnt loud, it was normal, about 30 on the head unit... does this mean my amps gone, or does it usually do this on 6x9s coz they are shiat wastes of space and i have been stressing hard core over nothing...??

mono amps only produce bass, dont u know that
You will probably blow up your 6x9, dont do it again, u could even fuck the amp.
Mono amps usually dont produce any frequencies over 250Hz

lol. u have no idea how happy i am to hear that im a knob
i still thought 250Hz was still high thou, so i thought i wouldve heard that...
what about the whole volume thing, was that just because it was a silly lil 6x9 and it couldnt go ne louder otherwise something will pop?
thanks

And it was probably the gain on your amp. You wouldnt hear major bass volume from a 6x9 as i guess the frequency response would not go down that low.

o o o ... what damage can it do? would it make my amp perform bad, or does it just stop it working completely, or does it vary on 67346 different things..?

it would have only done damage if you had turned your headunit way loud at the same time. You should be alright and stop bloody panicking
just get it installed before the warranty expires just incase
