I recently purchased a 1994 Holden Barina GSI (Corsa GSI 1.6 16v) with a blown motor and have recently had another motor fitted. Since fitting every now and then the motor starts to idle high at about 1300-2000rpm and all of sudden drop back to normal. turning the ignition off and starting 5 seconds later fixes the problem until you take off; then it does it again. I have tried disconnecting the battery which stopped the problem for 2 days but it has come back again. Not sure if its related but when the car is cold and just started, if you dab the throttle like normal it stumbles up to rpm like its missing or something.

I am hoping someone here can help me as i am really pulling my hair out over this. Thanks guys.

i got exactly same prob mate. tried every sensor nearly
