Would a 16XE drop staright into my corsa (it currently has a dead 1.4 Ecotec in)?

Or are the mounting points different?

Just wondering if I should have some extra horses while im at it

Yep, straight in. Think most of the engine is the same, bar the displacement.

Yea, pretty sure Ecotec and non Ecotec engines use different management.

you going for a x16xe? if so itll drop direct in, will even run on the 1.4 ecu, but best to change it. if your going to swap it for the c16xe, its a bit more work as the loom is slightly different.
