Been out in the cold this morning spraying the rear up, its coming out better than I ever imagined

Just ran out of paint so have to wait for my mate to come back to finnish.

Came out alright that! I guess u did it with Cans?

If u want it really clean and shiney/glossey, give it a couple of days, and rub the whole thing down with T-cut, then polish it up! will look well tidy then!! I know for fact, Halford's glacier white comes out so nice after that. I did my old spoiler like that, and it come out near perfect.

However, i reckon ur gonna see some of that rust some back through unless u sealed all of it with hamerite or summat?

Pete I believe these two pictures answers the question about cleaning it before spraying

Took bloody ages to get all the dirt out of the nooks and crannys.

not bad, use p1500 wet and dry though, not tcut, it will remove the lumps.

i thought u were stripping it?

i can still see loads of brackets-seat-seatbackrest

and why did you mask off the inner arches if its stripped u might aswell paint in there too

There is nothing inside the car at all. The rear seat mounts are still in there because I don't have access to anything to cut them off with.

I'm not spraying inside the arches because I will be having two new ones welded in when its sprayed.

ah i see so your gonna get the inside spayed again when you cut the brackets off?

a grinder is only bout £20 and get a couple of disks £10 and off you go
