I haven't actually but I used the Mrs 4S the other day and it felt very dated, chunky and heavy. Very strange as I've always liked the design/size/weight.

I picked an Xbox controller and it felt like shit compared to my PS3 controller that I'm used to.

All these hollow arguments are only making the S3 sound worse than it probably is, but as nothing at all stands out, it's all there's left.

I stand by that the phone market has stagnated for almost two years now. Nothing at all has evolved in the last 12 months. 4S looks like the best buy, but it will be such an empty feeling getting a phone almost exactly like the one I have...

ps. S3 screen size is a massive plus over iPhone once you get use to it.

What are you rambling on about balling, you seem quite angry about all of this.

Specs are usually a bit poor on the Nexus phones and designs are a bit meh(isn't this one a bit glittery )...usually run really nicely though (for Android).

Not saying S3 is better than the iPhone 5 but that's exactly how I felt buying the 5. It was the most awesome amazing phone ever for about 5 minutes until I realised it's exactly the same as my 2 year old 4. Yes its a bit quicker, thinner and lighter but that's all soon forgotten about.

Given the S3 allowed me to pocket £150 it's definitely a good shout, especially if you're only considering a 4S.

First couple of weeks were proper hard after 4 years of iOS and even now I have to think for that split second about how to do something when I want to do it, like find whatsapp, look at a picture, read an email. Don't know if that because its not as intuitively designed as iOS or because I'm just so used to where stuff is on iPhone, probably both.

Be warned though, iPhone screen will look crap after a few weeks with the s3. Notification light is very useful. When you get it set-up right the battery's probably better. It's also so customisable you easily get it setup so everything is in the same place as iOS but with more useful stuff like screen and icon gestures.

I'm probably one of the rare few that are happy enough with an iPhone. I'd rather it just work than having to customise and mess around with stuff. Sounds like a lot of faff that's unnecessary.

My S3 is exactly as it came from the factory in that respect, nothing 'customised'.

I do, but the way it sits atm, and could stay, is exactly as it comes out the box, does everything it has to without any fannying about.

I just get bored and then I can do other stuff.

Ironically the only customisation I've done to the 'look' is to make it look and feel like Vanilla Jellybean.

Done a few things in the background that help with the overall user experience.

I've been using the normal touchwiz stuff, might move to a vanilla one for 4.2 though.

Usually, yes. But this one is part of the new range that Google are just about to release - Nexus 4 (4inch phone), Nexus 7 (7inch tablet) and Nexus 10 (10 inch tablet, with 300ppi )

https://play.google.com/store/devices/details?id=nexus_4_8gb

Look at that price
