On Wednesday while i had the wheels off i noticed that the rubber seal where the cv joint is was burst - the place that holds all the grease i think. I have been told that is an mot failure. How hard/easy it this to repair ?

He hasn't had an email since. I'll email them tomorrow and ask them about it.

I didn't get an email when it was despatched either I'm not sure I did anyway.

Ring or email, they're pretty good replying!

It's a shame you live so far up North from me I'd like to see your car in the flesh.

Ahhh, sounds strange. They are may be waiting for the grills to come into stock - shame they haven't let you know. I recommend emailing them!

Just want to get a short aerial sorted out now then I'll be done - I've also decided to debadge

I got my wiper (which hasn't arrived yet) from these people:
Fiat Punto Special Fit Rear Wiper Blade & Arm for the 3 door

I did originally get the Marea one which is more expensive, which didn't fit. Sent it back using their Freepost so didn't cost anything but they wanted £2.50 for the Punto one to be sent out!

Thats a pretty good price considering it comes with the blade as well as the arm.

I'll email them tomorrow if it doesn't arrive.

I also wouldn't mind a shorter arial.

Good, you have decided to debadge it. Looks much better i think - just be carefull while doing it, i chipped my paint by mistake...

I found this buyer of the aerials - comes with different bits so should definitely fit!

I heard a hair dryer and credit cards is the best thing to use? I've got a laminated ID card will use that, not as strong as the credit card so hopefully won't to any damage. Might debadge tomorrow, as I plan on washing the car if weather is sunny. Want to get some fancy shots 2!

I just got some boiling water and poured some over the badged, then used some strimmer wire to cut it away from the glue - You can use dentil floss as well or anything that is fine and sharp really.

Then i just used some white spirit and a credit card and scraped all of the glue off. I done this in the dark so i guess i was just in a rush to get all the glue off, which made me chip the panit slightly.

Then just finish off with a t-cut

That is a prety decent price for the arial as well.

No it's not essential. Although if the colour is faded slightly it will help.

Mine wasn't really faded at all, just went over it fairly quickly, it helps get rid of any little scratches you might of made while taking the glue off.

Ahhh ok, might leave it a while before I t-cut then, unless it's really faded. Never really used t-cut before you see. You polish after t-cutting right?

That isn't right - not any way you can get into the account? The quicker you contact them the better. What time does it say on the auction for delivery.
