I'm looking for a post 97 front bumper in black at the top and red at the bottom for my SRi, but I need a job before I start spending money on it.

Martin, I live in Biggleswade, so just down the road - how long until your test? You're lucky to have an SRi at 17 too

Steven - definitely send the grill back - I'm hopefully getting the 13" Softstars

Oh nice on Deano. They will look

I wrapped it up and i'm sending it back tomorrrow, hopefully wont be too long before i have the slatted one.

I was so close to winning a bumper the same as yours on ebay. I was waiting untill it has a few mins left before i bidded when someone said too me: "make sure if fits a 3dr corsa before you buy it" - that had me all worried and while i was trying to find out it sold

Ah well, i'll keep an eye out for another.

You can have my bumper if you want...

...providing you get me an Irmy one or something

No seriously, bad luck on the bumper - I'd try and find a replacement black lower grill for yours!

Yea well i was misinformed when doing my bumpers - I used sandpaper which was too rough and scratched the plastic. So i'm on the look out for a post 97 bumper - black top, Flame Red buttom

I'm guessing your tyres will fit straight over the Softstars?

Hopefully - the Softstars are 5" wide and apparently steelies are 4.5". I'm just asking questions as to if that is safe etc in Help Zone. I'm also going to go into my tyre place and ask how much they charge to swap over - I have a feeling I'll be buying the wheels then saving up, or putting on my credit card, the cost of changing them over.

I have to go into the brokers where I got my insurance to change any details - speaking face to face will hopefully not raise my premium, especially if I stress that they're not any bigger than the steel wheels therefore can't be performance enhancing and in the event of an accident I don't want them replaced.

Hopefully they will be a straight swap, save you a bit of cash. I can't see it rising the premium by much, but who knows.

Wether its 3dr or 5dr it doesnt matter. All bumpers fit.

Both my front and rear bumpers are both from 5dr's.

Been away from here for a while, sorry

After around 2 months after ordering my grill, I finally got the proper one delivered last week. It now have fitted it and looks nice – I will get some pictures up of it soon.

My ‘step cousin’ has written off his 1.2 8v Corsa; which was also Flame Red, but he sprayed it Fire Engine red with a compressor and some paint he borrowed from work.

I went over today and stripped the back bumper, four arches and mirrors from it, the colour is a little out, but so are my bumpers and arches. (His from bumper is a mess ) I’ll fit them tomorrow and see what they look like.

My clutch cable snapped a few weeks ago, so I had to fit a new one – done it myself as well

Today, I filled up with petrol from ASDA, started my car to go and pay and the engine management light came on It’s came on twice since then, I’m just hoping it’s going to go away

It got fixed and my new grill & Depos are sitting on my bedroom floor waiting to be fitted on Friday as I am busy Wednesday and Thursday. So soon it is going to be back to normal - and I'm not going to put an Irmy 'I' on the grill this time, see how it looks without it etc.

Look forward to seeing your car
