I didn't look through all 40 pages, but saw the bit at the beginning so assumed you were on standard airbox. You're not helping me to save money with this thread. I could manage not to spend £3k + on the CSL or Evolve airboxes, but £800 is a lot harder to argue with .

That's exactly how I looked at it Although bare in mind that you need to change from MAF to IAT sensor so it'll need mapped. Evolve are the best guys for it and they're £500. But the car drives completely differently, and the sound is an added bonus of course!

Not sure if you can see this but a video of my car from outside

Cars packed up for Nurburgring/Spa Trackday, too dark to get a pic. I have to wake up in 1 hour 45 minutes. Fantastic.

I left my packing for scotland until 15 minutes before we left. Just chucked loads of stuff in a bag and figured I could buy stuff up there if need be.

Get some pics up if you can. Of the car that is, not your thonged underpants.

Yeah going through the process of buying a house atm, but kinda just stopped updating project threads as the car hasn't really changed, just been doing track days and the odd bit to it here and there so didn't think anybody would be interested!

Oh and I'm getting married in August so car has been a bit unimportant so far this year unfortunately.

I did a wet 1st December track day at Snetterton:

A very foggy/icy day in January at Bedford with Mark on here with the Nova who took this pic:

Little video:

https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=-VWKUBoA9kg

I had the front and back of it painted due to lots of stone chips, dents, marks, scratches just to clean it up a bit. My mate did it and I helped so wasn't that expensive and I'm a lot happier with it now as although I use it on track the paint condition was really getting to me a bit. I had both wings reversed into on 2 separate occasions and decided enough was enough so my mate said he'd do it if I helped and we just did it over a few Saturdays

I smoothed the front plate holes aswell so I can be scene and run without a number plate. I still have to come up with a way of mounting it as I mainly did it so I can just remove it easily at trackdays.

I had the grills sprayed black too

I did a little session the other week at Summer Wednesdays Brands Hatch meet just because I hadn't done any track time for a while so had to get it out my system. Not a very interesting video but I changed the Go Pro to a fixed position. I want to lower it a bit to try and avoid the mirror a bit but I prefer the view and it gives me a lot more room to look around without having it on the helmet, which is safer really, whilst still being able to look at what I'm doing.

https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=IWhSFiaGWHk

I've got some Turner Motorsport Limiter Plates to fit which basically stop the side to side movement in the rear trailing arm bushes, so at the same time I'm putting new trailing arm bushes in, then get the corner weighting & 4 wheel alignment checked as I'm booked onto DN10 Nurburgring track day. Heading out with a fair few mates, Dale is going in his M5 aswell with a few of his mates so it should be be a great trip.
