Normal exhaust has a very nice sound but i got a blueflame which sounds even better
The red interior was great and i had the option of the controls pack
Standard you get seats and grab handles in the colour of the leather - controls pack includes handbrake steering wheel knee pads done in the same colour
interiors vary deopending on colour
IMO the best combinations are
AVUS silver (like mine) with red leather
Black with red leather
Black with ANUS(yellow) leather
AVUS was also a special order paint up until 2003
Most will have RS4's at 2002
Before that comps were the best wheel available

I have started liking these too recently
I see a dark silver one every morning that has a small front lip and skirts on it and a slightly bigger rear spoiler aswell as some bbs style wheels.
Cant belive has dibs on the astra always wanted a red one
Drives supercharged Tec with torque

persoanlly go with one with the control pack like mine as it finshes the interior off nicely and is less common

280bhp and 330ft/lb in the astra wit a diff and 4 pots would get my vote over a TT

Nice cars, I did briefly consider one when I was looking for me S3 but I prefered a bigger car.
Up until 6 months ago I was driving a XE Corsa everyday and thinking it was great, now i've gone VAG im not going back
It will also hold its value better than your astra IMO and as you say you won't get the "Boyracer" tag which is always a bonus

Not what im after, i wouldnt bother tuning the astra that much, its not the best chassis in the world. Mines allready got too much torque, more of a handfull to drive than my LET corsa was.
Its not all about power and TT's are in a different ball park to a vauxhall hatchback IMO. Dont get me wrong i love my car at the minute, but im fed up with the image tbh

TT's are fab, my old man had an early 180bhp version about 7 years ago i loved it. Personally i loved the way it drove and everything about it, so spacious in the front for quite a small car. Boot space is also pretty good for the type of car. In the 5 years he had it not one problem although when he sold it the gearbox would crunch from 1st to 2nd
I used to hate getting in my GSi after driving it, vaux's are shite in comparison to be honest and the GSi is slowly becoming the latest chav accessory.

Ive had a 225 for about 6 months now, remapped it the week i got it from 225 to ~270. The difference is huge.
According to VAGCOM i'm 5.7 to 60, and 13.4 to 100.
Quattro is great for launching, but the clutch wont handle too many 5k-side-step-the-clutch launches.
It handles better than my MK3 Ibiza Cupra did, and the ride is much smoother than my friends MK4 Golf Gti.
It was between a S3 and a TT when i was looking, and the S3's just look boring. TT looks different, and still looks good after being out for 10 years almost.
