Online is going to be epic if they can iron the problems out. Having mainly played COD online it's so refreshing to have such a wide range of stuff to do. Last night we were split in to two teams, one had to take a VIP to safety, we had to kill him before he got there, three players on my team, two piled on a bike and were never seen again! Think they must've got epically lost.
Taking half decent cars to LS customs is a good way to make quick money, I got $9k for some sort of BMW and you don't have to outrun the cops like when you hold up shops. Also move your money into the bank via your phone straight away.
Time to get a proper CS crew together too, it'll be even more fun playing as part of a group.

Good shout about selling cars via LS customs I'll have to do that to make some cash I think.
Ditto about the crews, I've just been going Lone Ranger at the mo but a crew would make it even better

Just managed to get online.
My character has changed looks and skill attributes completely, but my car is still the same.
I had just bought a house before going offline last time.
I have now lost my house and all my cash.
Looks like my game save has corrupted FFS.

You can, just need to be closer than in a SP game.
Also, maybe your shooting skills are crap?
Anybody know if you can do the shooting range online, like you can in SP? Fairly easy way to max out your skills.

What I found shit was the fact that as a rank 4 I was up against rank 7-12 players who started out with armor and SMG's, while all I had was my shitty pistol.
Generally the game is very unbalanced towards lower level players.

Was up against a rank 41 yesterday in numerous games, kept placing bets on he'd win each time, came away with quite a bit of cash even when I was on the losing team

I'm having a day off it, been monstering it the last few days and not doing much else  unlocked one of the sniper rifles yesterday so was having a bit of fun with that, landing on building with a heli with no access ladders, picking people off, getting bountys put on me the cargo bob has started spawning for me up at trevors airfield too so was having a laugh with that, seen 2 players in LS customs and tried to drop a truck on them but ended up missing and blocking one of the entrances

I emailed Rockstar about my character corrupting. Generic shit response received which shows they didn't even read my original email.
I do hate the fact that they can't seem to get the problems sorted. Is it not possible for them to take a financial hit and use some of Amazons cloud or something for real computing power for the first few months when they really need the service to be stable?
