Journalist and Microsoft expert Paul Thurrott, who was spot on with the timings of Microsoft’s Xbox announcement, reports his sources say that there will be two different price models for the next Xbox. First up is the standalone $499 (£323) model, but if that’s too much, you’ll also be able to pick one up for $299 (£193) – but that will also require a two-year commitment to Xbox Live at $10 (£6.50) a month.

Switching too plantation After watching that all it was going on about was TV !! Truly the only thing keeping Microsoft afloat with the console is the online services that's it. Sony's reveal hands down owned mocrosofts

Nope. At least you'll be able to stack it with the rest of your AV gear, which can't be said for the current 360 or PS3 designs.
So far though i think it's extremely impressive as an all-in-one entertainment centre (be interesting to see if Sony go that far into integrating internet and live TV - personally i suspect not). As a console though it looks like we're going to have to wait 'til E3 to really determine it's performance.
Certainly liking the direction Microsoft are taking with the Xbox though
