Well thats me on my 2nd ps3 now, it decided to make a bang and went off, it was a 60gb, went in to get another one and they never had any 60's left, said they dont think theyre gettin them back in, so I took a 40gb and got the difference in price back on my card

Yeh, any standard PC drive which doesn't need software (do any?) can be put into a PS3 and it'll automatically recognise and use it
