a snapshot?

i understand that out of every 25 members on here who slated it 1 liked it.

i dont see what you are not grasping? the handset has sold MORE than the iphone did within first week of launch-and the storm isnt out yet. so it has sold more pre-release, than when the iphone was actually released.

and in the uk, in 1 week, we have just over 80k acquisitions from other networks coming to get the storm. so as the corsasport bandwagon say it is a snapshot, the bigger picture is that the phone has gone public, and a lot more people are askin for it than what corsasport says.

in the next week, i shall be able to find out the amount of returns from o2 on original iphone coming back for the storm. it will be interesting i think.

I'm not not grasping anything, i'm not into phones or phone markets.

All im saying is if you think that this new phone will be bigger and better than the iPhone than you're deluded.

Corsasport is a bandwagon just as much as society as a whole is, if Joe Bloggs has an iPhone then so will all his friends and family. That's the way it works.

did u not understand what i said? ill explain this in simple terms for you. the 3g network, including UMTS has just been expanded, and is going to be switched on very soon. so, the people with HSDPA/UMTS devices will be on a different platform, with digital APN's.

so the normal 3g nework that uses a 1.8 AP wont be affected.

is that easy for u to grasp?

Whatever network it is, it will still be slower with more people using it

We don't live in the US of A though, Blackberries are more popular over there. This thread is rapidly failing.

Have you pulled out a spec that proves the non existant HD video recording or are you moving over that.

Shares are at $50, were $150 4 months ago.

go and use one when it hits the shops!!

you can quote every company share price falling, fact is that you said RIM are worth nothing! they are still making profit.

yes microsoft have displayed interest in taking over RIM, purely to amalgamate 2 brands into one-quite a bold manouevre considering that they develop windows mobile technology.

Unless vodafone have re-defined high def it would have to be able to record at 1280x720 at a decent frame rate.

You were also told it had a high def screen, which it doesn't.

http://mobileroar.com/2008/10/08/blackberry-storm-first-reviews

.2 megapixel camera, with variable zoom, auto focus, and a powerful flash that also provides continuous lighting when recording video; the camera records video in half-VGA resolution (480×320) or at 176×144 for MMS

That sounds much much more realistic.

If you were correct that would be like that camera taking 30 full res pictures every second, which it won't.

you've sold fuck all because no one can buy it because its not out. however many people have pre-ordered or shown interest or whatever figures youre quoting i'd say half of those at an absolute most will actually sign up for one.
my conclusion? its shit
